Composer, pianist and sound artist.

Alexandros Gaglias is a composer who began his music studies in Greece, where he earned a Higher Diploma in Piano from the Hellenic Conservatory of Music and Arts and a Higher Degree in Counterpoint and Fugue from Athenaeum Conservatory. He later pursued an MA in Composition of Music for Films and Television at the University of Bristol and is currently working towards a DMA in Composition at Boston University. In addition to his doctoral studies, he serves as a teaching assistant in the electronic music studio and keyboard harmony classes, while managing ALEA III, a contemporary music ensemble in residence.
His concert works have been performed at contemporary classical music festivals in Greece, while his freelance work as a composer spans a wide range of media, including music for short films, documentaries, and animation.
He has worked as an accompanist for musical theatre, focusing on vocal practice and aural lessons. Additionally, he has collaborated with various dance schools as a piano accompanist for both classical and modern dance classes, as well as accompanying classical singing and chamber music courses at conservatories. His teaching experience extends to piano and music theory, and he has also served as a music technology instructor and sound designer.
